The first, we will visit Tu Duc tomb. The tomb of Tu Duc is located about 8km from Hue city center. This is the final resting place of Tu Duc, built by King Tu Duc of the Nguyen dynasty. The tomb was built between 1864 and 1867, during the reign of Emperor Tu Duc, the fourth emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. At this time, the tomb was named Van Hien Co. Tu Duc tomb is one of the most beautiful royal tombs in Hue.It is known for its cultural and historical significance.

• Next destination, we continue visit Dong Khanh tomb. Dong Khanh Tomb is also known as Tu Lang. This is the mausoleum of the 9th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. It is located on a small hill, about 8km southwest of Hue. Dong Khanh tomb is located between the tombs of Thieu Tri and Tu Duc. It was recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage on December 11,1993. We will have opportunity to enjoy the architectural beauty as well as learn the history of Vietnam under the reign of this Emperor.


• On the way, we have chance visit to Hue Incense Making Village to learn how to make incense by hand and buy souvenirs.

11:30 AM: We have lunch at local restaurant and take a short rest.

PM: After then, we will visit to Minh Mang tomb. Minh Mang tomb is one of the most mystical tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty. It is located about 12km from the city center. The tomb’s architecture is a blend of traditional Vietnamese design and Chinese feng shui principles, with many intricate carvings and details. You will learn about the life and achievements of Minh Mang, the second emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty.

• This final place of our Hue Royal Tombs tour will be Khai Dinh tomb. It is located about 10km southwest of Hue city center. The tomb of Khai Dinh was built from 1920 to 1931. Khai Dinh tomb is a mix of traditional Vietnamese architecture and European design elements and it is considered to be one of the most impressive royal tombs in Hue.
